Steider Studios Glass Medium is a thickening agent and binder for mixing with powdered glass.
Available sizes: Regular (makes 12 cups), Economy (makes 21 cups), Sample Size makes 3 cups.
Applications: Glass paste or clay (sculpting, modeling, pattern bars), freeze and fuse in candy and soap molds, liquid lines, traditional pâte de verre techniques, and more.

Advantages: No residue after firing; no odor; non-toxic; easy to use; ability to carve into and "cold work" dry but not-yet-fired glass paste or clay; inexpensive; easy to use -- just add water. The dry shelf life is three years, and I've kept a small amount of mixed medium in my studio that is still good after two years.
